The Killing of Stephen Colbert
For the release of Harvey Birdman, Attorney General in 2018, we were tasked with creating a history piece on the original show’s legacy. I’ve always loved roundtable discussions and the authentic conversations that can occur if you have the right people at the table. Here, some of the original creators and staff come together to talk about how they killed off Stephen Colbert’s character from the show.

The idea for the show was staring them right in the face. They just needed to have the right conversation to get the ball rolling.
After the shoot, I had to get rid of those cool Harvey Birdman backdrops we had printed, so I gave them to the staff members who participated in the roundtable. They can still be found in random areas at the Techwood campus in Atlanta at Warner Bros. Discovery.
