When making an opening tease for the Final Four, there will be a lot of eyeballs tuning in (a 9.2 rating and 12.4 million viewers to be exact). Here, we took the net-cutting ritual from the NCAA tournament and used that as the visual theme. We shot all those “scissor-cutting” shots on-site at the Final Four. Fun fact: Friskars brand scissors had to be used for any net cutting scenes.

The voiceover was done by the late Reg E. Cathey from The Wire and House of Cards fame. He was a super-talented actor and voiceover artist who passed away in 2018. And he was an absolute joy in the recording booth.
